3D printed stands for Tamiya paint stand
Hi All,
I recently bought a dehydrator to help cure painted bodies; so far so good. But I needed to create a shorter bottom section for the Tamiya paint stands I use so that the stand and model could fit. I designed and 3D printed the ones below. One has a substantially wider foot-print but is more stable with larger bodies. Once I finish spraying I simply transfer the top section over. The fit is not super tight, but this make life easier with a painted body to consider! If anyone is interested send me a pm and I can send the stl file across. Cheers, Grant. |

BRAVO! I don't need it but I admire when fellow modelers do creative things and experiment new stuff, great job.
