Re: Extreme Detailed Enzo Ferrari.....

Hi,

Great build! Just one question. How did you make the rubber lip on the luggage compartment? Is it vinyl tubing?

Cheers

Re: Extreme Detailed Enzo Ferrari.....

Looking great so far. I agree with getting all the wiring and plumbing into the engine bay! A lot of people leave it out and that hurts the realism. You are doing a good job.

Re: Extreme Detailed Enzo Ferrari.....

Hi guys, im back for more updates!!

A slight modification to the rear oil reservoirs..

Some work has been done on the front section of the car..

Air cleaner scratchbuilt, but still need to add some more details, grills will be added but yet to find a suitable material for the grills!!

I scratchbuilt another luggage compartment for the front section due to a slight fitting problem with the previous one, pictures of the finished luggage compartment will be posted soon

More details added

Moving on to the dash board

meshes added

Fuel insertion area under my knife too...

Thats it for now, will be updating more frequently due to the start of holidays!! Comments are welcome!

Re: Extreme Detailed Enzo Ferrari.....

I’m glad to see more updates on this great building!

And have some comments:
First, well, those oil reservoirs… I feel they aren’t yet up to the standard of the rest of the building, I would go for a different approach, may be if you try to make the splines with a photoetched saw using it transversally with the axis of the plastic rod.

The front section looks awesome! All that detail really adds up to the car, and the luggage compartment, it’s a great job! I like it

The job on the dashboard is superior!!, the Carbon Fiber finish looks very accurate.

The fuel flap is a great detail, the opening hinge looks very good, but the flap is way too thick for the scale, I would consider making it of thin plastic, which would be very easy to cut and bend to conform it to the shape of the engine cover

Keep us posted, it’s an awesome job!

Yea, i agree with ya, and i guess i will make it a thinner fuel flap, as well as maybe scratchbuild another oil reservoirs. Thanks for the suggestion!

Well, just some pics of my baby...

the first pic shows the seatbelt material from studio27 which i got a while ago, where the second pic shows the seatbelt material from KA models which i just got it recently. I must say the one from KA models are just so real! better than another other material i have seen!

After the assembly, this is how it looks with sratchbuilt buckles

Once again, thanks for the comments and suggestions!

THis is looking good!

The KA belts really do look good!

I like the wiring under the hood/nose. Did you make that up or is based on reference pics or a little of both? I like it. I may have to steal some of that for a build of mine.

Nice work!
