Mercedes AMG GT3, 24h Nürburgring
Hello,
another AMG GT3, this time with a livery from the 24h of Nürburgring. I thoroughly enjoyed building it, as with any modern Tamiya kit, this one is easy to assemble. In order to made it a bot more complicated I added the Hobby Design detail up set and this introduced a whole new level of challenges to the build with gluing and attaching some of the PE parts. I used Zero Paints for the main colour, then very thin gloss, then decals, 2k gloss followed by wet sanding to get out any imperfection. Finally I covered ti with matt varnish. Unfortunately some time ago my daughter kille dmy camera, so those pictures are taken with the phone and the paint makes the camera go crazy. It is a very good model: congratulations!!
Just one thing: the decals are added without cut them in the panel lines. All the rest is perfect including the panel lines! |
