That's good news!! (you don't have to replace anything, the sensor is good, the airgap was too wide, your Dad tapped the sensor clamp bolt in with the hammer right? He did not hit the actual sensor I hope) If the bronze insert does happen to back out again you may need to pull the insert out and epoxy it in, or worst case buy a new front cover. Hope fully you will be good to go as is. Congrats!
