Rear end Front seal Leaking/ I think water Is getting in

2003 Chevy s 10 4 wheel drive V 6 vortec motor I believe the Rear end is leaking From the fronte Yoke seal how big a job to fix it I think you got that way from the driveshaft having e a slight vibration PLEASE HELP THANK YOU

When I pulled the drain plug out A muddy oily reddish color contaminated oil came out it does have a small week

not a bad job,mark the driveshaft to yoke & yoke to diff so they go back
in the same position.
remove drive shaft,remove mounting nut,remove yoke by hitting w/brass hammer.
you can tap the edge of seal to remove it.
NOTE:check torque on mounting nut(yoke) before removal,so that the proper
preload pressure is applied on reinstallation
they do show 2 special tools,1 for holding rear from turning,1 for seal installation.not sure if they are really needed

What size is the ring gear is it 8.5 or 8.625. And if it 7.5 it's a completely different seal????? CORRECT

parts store will have that info.what i see is the 7.5 & 8 inch are the same
part #.for a 03 blazer 4.3L 4 wh drive
