Transmission Guys Need your Help!
I'm replacing my transmission filter on my 2001 Yukon (4L60-E). While putting in the new filter seal I noticed a small strip of gasket material right in front of the seal that is torn, not sure if it was already torn or if I inadvertently did it. However, I need to know if this has some importance or is it just an overhanging gasket?
SEE PICTURE: The piece I’m referring to is at the end of the screw driver and the tear is just left of the screw driver. Thanks for any info! |

Re: Transmission Guys Need your Help!
If it is brittle, looks like it could crack, you could remove it, but this is not normally an issue.
