YAMAHA YZR-M1 2005 No.5 [Tamiya 1/12]

Hi, workmates.

This is my last completed motorbike yamaha m1.

I used tamiya kit and detail set and chain set from topstudio.

I used paints from Gunje and tamiya, and carbon decal from KA models.

Thank you for watching.

I hope you enjoy it.

Incredible detail, well done!

Did you paint the chain by hand? Each link (Gold/silver) ....

Super nice detailing (note to self: get one of those Top Studio sets emediately). On some of the pics I have a very hard time to see the areas that would spot it as a model if mixed with IRL pics.

Your photo skills are also very good.

Among the details I really like the drilled out muffler with the drilled plate inside. The chain is also fantastic. What I miss the most is a dressed up pic with the rest of the cowls or at least some pics of them alone.

Thank you for your comment.

The chain is from Topstudio and you don't need to paint it. You can find the photos of the chain at the WIP.

Thank you Joel for your comment.

Actually I didn't finish the cowlings yet. They need to be polished.

I'm finishing them and making a small vignette of pit in.

FANTASTIC !!
It is a pity that the front wheel is on the factory pivot - ruining the effect.

It's hard to say if it's a real bike or a scale model...!
Incredible result.
For sure one of the best scale model bike I've ever seen.

Incredible life-like detail, I could watch these pictures for hours, and still find something new!
Please, tell me what you did to the inside of the muffler (or is it silencer?)? Is it some kind of photo-etched mesh or what?
