Surprised no one has noticed these. All I can say is bring it on.

Re: 2007 Ford Focus - Hasegawa

It's an interesting and at the same time disappointing release.

This is the car Rossi used at last year's Monza Rally, but it issense it's just a WRC'03 Focus with new decals at a new price. My hope that someone will one day release a WRC06 Focus rally car is slowly dying

Yep ,you're right. Vale used ET53 URO, an RS04 Focus, and in fact the same car he used in 2006 to win the rally, also in white with Fastweb decals. I guess the only good thing is that it'll save buying the Ren bumper upgrades and asphalt wheels and suspension. There will at least be some decals sets for this car from S27 etc.

An 2006/07 Focus is overdue though.

Re: 2007 Ford Focus - Hasegawa

Ahh, yes, didn't think of that. Chances are (if Hasegawa do it right) that we'll have proper plastic 15-spoke 4-hole OZ Superturismos for our Focii

(sigh) Unless something changes with the plastic companies, I am going to have to get a better job if I want kits of the new rally cars as they will all be resin. Oh well.

They are?! I asked them this, when they released Subaru transkit and they told me they have no plans of doing Focus 2006/2007. Any information, when it will be ready? It must have a lot of parts, because the latest Tamiya Focus is from 2001...

Interesting. Doesn't the Mk2 Focus-based WRC06 have a different wheelbase and is, in essense, a completely different car?

Yes, it is a different wheelbase.

The real car is also a lot more symmetrical.
