Re: Grand Am Off Topic Thread

Yeah I plan on getting like an '02-'05 WRX... they are the 2.0L boxer engines, turbocharged. Have that "bug eyes" look to them but I'll get a body kit or something to make them look newer. But yeah, NOT buying new! I plan on NOT getting in any accidents hehe... and since I'll be keeping my GA, if I can't afford it or if it breaks or soemthing, I'll just get rid of the thing and go back to my trusty GA Like an old pair of shoes!

So yeah... just got back from the Renassaince Faire... damn is my face and neck burnt to all hell! I've been sunburnt a lot now, I'll probably die of skin cancer LOL...

But I was there with my new dance partner and she's really cool... single too And likes sharp pointy objects like I do!

OH and if I see ur car XI I'll try to not mash into it I'll park next to ur car and give it pleeeenty of room so nobody else squishes it hehe

I'm the guy that takes 2-3 parking spots so no one parks too close

I was working on a new shirt design for my friends in Hords of Nebulah. I have two different ones so far..

Let me know what you all think!

Re: Grand Am Off Topic Thread

Well I can say that was a very long drive home tonight... headache and all.... As long as i dont make any sudden moves I'm fine... otherwise i feel dizzy, sick, and pain... URGH.

Vipey: I know exactly what you mean... that's why i bought my old G/a back so if the other one crapped out i had something to drive.. however it got too expensive to have both on the road... so dropped the old G/a.

Xi: I like both designs alot!... My only suggestion would be to play with the font of the "by thy hand" to match a little closer to the rest of the shirt.... since it feels a little out of place, otherwise good job!

Re: Grand Am Off Topic Thread

I plan on keeping "storage insurance" on my GA which is like $5 a month or whatever, so it won't really be a big hole in my pocket

The WRX though will be a little unfriendly insurance-wise, but I think my parents are going to be paying insurance so that will be neat. If that's the only thing they pay for, it will at least be affordable for me

I wish there was a storage insurance i could have gotten. I'm dreading moving to PR because I have very little insurance options right now... So i will be paying my full insurance for the year(s) plus payments for a car that I won't be able to drive. The only option i have is a temporary termination of coverage which brings the car to no use for about 6 months with a significant reduced payment... however after that 6 month i have to redo all the insurance.... So in the long run it sucks! The brightside for me is that the mileage will stop going up on my car so when i get back my mileage should be near to every other 6 for the year...

If your parentals pay for insurance... that would be sweet!!! it would make things a lot easier.

Oh so i found out something new on the G6... I was driving down the highway put on my signal to change lanes... but I left it on since i was going from left to right on the highway safely.... Since I left my signal on "too long" my car started to chime at me incesently! Annoying yet cool feature. Now I will say something i said a while back... Why the hell do I have a chime for my signal on to long, but yet if the SES light comes on no chime? where's the logic behind this?

Re: Grand Am Off Topic Thread

wow no ones posted in 3 days

Thier are some nice features on newer models of cars and trucks. Some though are usless!

Got a bit chilly here today, high 58deg... winter is near!!!!

I finaly got the SE 98% back together, still have the hood off. Its saying drive me with no hood! Lol

I put off the lowering spring because I couldnt find any 2inch drops So I'm also putting off the KYB struts untill I get those springs. Looks like a good winter project, I want to powder coat the springs yello anyways

Was going to get this aluminum radiator from BeCool radiators but it would have to been custom and about $375
I went with a Delphi radiator part - RA#20019 a little under $150.

Replacing all the bushings up front was the most difficult out of everything.
Once I get it alligned(and new struts/springs), it should be driving closer to new.

Have a great week everyone!

Re: Grand Am Off Topic Thread

Yeah I've been quite busy too the past few days... between work sucking as usual, my lack of an outside life, long distance talks, running around... i haven't gotten to the forums much... and tomorrow another busy day ahead. Next weekend I'm going down to PR! YAY! I'll get to see my girl! WOhoo! But it wont be all fun and games... I know I'm going to look at an apartment with her... that means money out of my pocket... plus the plane ticket.. Urgh! I'm off for the night.. waiting for my long distance "in network" call.

I'll be back probably on friday.. if i'm lucky tomorrow...

Re: Grand Am Off Topic Thread

Well today wasn't so good of a day for me. To give you an idea how i feel right now... I'm walking into work tomorrow... waiting for an apology from the owner... if i don't get get it.... I'm telling the f*ck*r off and walking out. .... and I really mean business this time... unlike the other times... this is for real... I will not be disrespected.

on the brightside I have someone who wants to interview me for a graphic artist position! Finally.... it only took like 3 year since the last time someone was interested! I guess its all about timing. HAHAHAHH and if this doesn't go through... I have my back-up plan
