Sand/Baja Maxx

Hey everyone, I am a regular her at AF, but new to the R/C section. Anyways my friend and I are working on a custom t-maxx that is going to be made for the beach. A few mods include a custom front suspension set-up using hpi savage shocks mounted to custom built shock tower mounts, also in addition we shaved the lower control arms in the front so it would allow for more suspension travel. However, our big dillema is whether or not to make it 2wd or 4wd. We are leaning towards a 2wd set up with a rear locker to help with traction in the sand. Any comments would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Re: Sand/Baja Maxx

4wd,.. why make a 4wd truck 2wd?.. 4wd with sand paddles= insane launches.

Re: Sand/Baja Maxx

We were going to go with 2wd because that is how the real baja trucks are set up, and we are trying to make this t-maxx as much like a baja truck as possible.
