RE has finally fell through the cracks.

Ok usually i do a search on ebay to see who is selling anything good, adire, re, ascendant. Well it has finally happened there is a dealer on ebay selling re stuff. Its always individuals selling used equipment. Not that its a bad thing, its good there getting there name out in the world.

Also they have a pic of the xxx anda series called the mx

http://cgi.ebay.com/RE-AUDIO-2006-XX...QQcmdZViewItem

looks like they kept the 5" peak to peak excursion setup.

Heres the mx

http://cgi.ebay.com/RE-AUDIO-MX12-12...QQcmdZViewItem.

Considering they havent updated the website since the release of 12.1 amp.

I could only imagine how nasty these would look reverse mounted in an enclosure, there still sexy looking though.

Bring on the comments.

Don't ever look at cars as just imports or domestics. Just because a car is made in a certain country doesn't mean that it is anything like another car from that country. An example of this is Mitsubishi reliability, just because they are Japanese doesn't mean that they are as reliable as a Honda or Toyota.

Re: RE has finally fell through the cracks.

If you read on cso, you would notice that it has been said that they suck with websites and thats why it isn't updated, *the specs are posted in a stickie there.*

But yes, RE got flushed down the crapper when they got bought out.

Re: RE has finally fell through the cracks.

RE could do a simple HTML website with links but they are too lazy. Yes USamps bought RE but that has nothing to do with RE's website since USamps has their shit togather. RE could also hire an IT guy and get the website done and when he wasnt doing the web site he could answear the phone but instead they had to hire a ditz headed "holly"

Of course, they figured since audio was dominated by males, that talking to a female would get them more customers. Apparently it backfired though.

She is part owner of the company, she knows what she is talking about, and she isnt a las vegas ditz.

When i called TC she knew what a recone was, knew what moter i was talking about and knew exactly what they where allowed to do with it. Holly, when asked about having a TC9 reconed by RE she replied "We dont carry a 'TC9'" or something to that tune.

soon everybody who has never heard of RE yet will be saying, "I liked them when they had their good stuff." But they never knew. And they never will.

Re: RE has finally fell through the cracks.

Thats what happens, every major company has had some decent innovations and decent product lines but once they get well known it all goes to shit. There have been a few companys who have kept there products good. But it happens.
