Question 2001 Ram 1500 overhead console removal

Does anyone know how to remove the overhead console, I can't find any screws and it does not seem to want to pop off. I have consulted my haynes manual, no help.

Those 2 push lights have screws behind them if I remember correctly. You gotta remove the lenses and then you should see them. I think.

Actually I had to remove mine as well. What I did was open the very front of the console (where the garage remote would go) and there are two clips there that have to be pressed in. Then drop the front of the console down and pull forward (towards the windshield) and the back should come out. Its kind of hard to do, and you think you'll break it but I didn't break mine. Good Luck.
