Question Squeeeeel Test

Last night i installed a new clutch for my b18c1. its amazin i can squeel while shifitin into 4th gear .not consistent though but wow. can anyone beat that???

Ummm... You do know that you're supposed to give your clutch time to break in before you start beating on it right? It's just like when you get new brakes, you're supposed to go easy on them for a while before going full on.

o, by the way, i can do squeels in 4th with my 92 integra RS, with a stock clutch! hehe just gotta know how to drive

Yeah it's not hard to do at all, if you know how to do it. I can chirp my tires in 2nd gear, and that's in my 70hp CX. If I can do it with a puny 70hp engine, then anyone can (I found it out when I got a mild case of road rage because of idiots in traffic.)

oooo man thanks didnt know that! why is that? i knew that you had to do that with brakes but not with the clutch.

your gonna warp your disc and flywheel. when that happens, your gonna get squeeling when you dont want it

i had a cx and i was doin it in 2nd too. but not 4th ??? can you chirp in 4th with th cx

Not sure, never tried it before. I'll have to give it a try The only problem is that my area is swarming with cops all the time, so I've got to watch out for them when attempting it.

ya i'd sorta like to know the "proper" break in technique too, because when i swap my d16 for the b18c1 with a 6 puck unsprung race clutch, id like to know what to do....
