Programming keyless entry remote
Anyone tried programming a remote? Do numbers have to match? What kind of process is it? This is for a 96 Yukon and I was given a "GM" fob by dealer and have only one working fob. The extra one from dealer does not look like the original. Any help would be great!

Re: Programming keyless entry remote
Hi,
I had the dealer program mine. It takes 15 minutes, or $20. I don't know the procedure for your 96 Yukon, mine is an 01. If the dealer is nice, they may give you a photocopy of the page on how to do it. Mine did. Take care, Eggert Johnson |
