help i'm losing it.

hey i have a problem with my 94 olds 88 royale... i was driving down the road ..cruise set at 65 and it just died. power windows stopped power seats stopped and dome lights didnt work. would not start again .had it towed ..replaced fuel pump. worked for 4 days went to the store wouldn't start and hour later started . took it back to mechanic he doesnt know what is going on. same thing no power in windows or locks or dome lights . any suggestions?

found it!!

hey mechanic found the problem thanks to u guys and me lol!! a wire under the carpet drivers side had a short. thanks alot for this forum.

I wish I would have known about this site before I spent $1000 trying to fix this problem. I'm really convinced that we should file a class action lawsuit against GM or something. Ford was forced to recall cars because the TFI module would overheat and fail causing a stall. One thing I noticed when searching for help on this issue is that there are a lot of Olds 88s for sale with new ignition modules and fuel pumps. Why isn't there a TSB on this problem?
