Re: limited edition 2004 hyundai tiburons

hyundai has decided to restrict our product knolege on these tiburon, i know that The western reagin will be allicated yellow only, their trim levels, i tryed to get out of my regonal manger, bruce, but he really dosent know ither. Hyundai's funny about that kind of thing. they want everyone to sell whats on the lot, not whats coming in soon. Which isnt supprising, their shooting for the #4 spot in behind toyota, honda, nissan for the most imported vehicals in america selling more then 400,000 in 2003. so thats why your seeing all of these new changes from H.A.R.D (wich we had a meeting about last weekend at a 20-20 in florada). Its all Hyundais new marketing campain to distribute and isolate a market in the sub-30's age bracket. and lets face it, hyundai (other then the tiburon) isn't a desierable car for that class of buyer, whos idealism is apperence, & performance over safety and reliabilty. so, for the near future i jsut dont know whats going to be standerd other then the colors. thanks... scott

Re: limited edition 2004 hyundai tiburons

niso, ive owned hyundai's for 7 years, and have been selling them for 3. i know more about hyundai then i ever wish to express. and yeah. i've seen all their consept cars. and yes, im a tunner. i think 2005 with the redesign of the Sonata, H.A.R.D, and Alabamas 1 billion dollar production facility, hyundai might find themselfs a new home in the harts of the american people. =)

I think I saw one of those at the dealer when I went to get my free oil change. It was silver with decals, had some nice rims (only 16's), spoiler (bleah) and a pretty nice body kit. BUT, it was only available in the I4. (?)
Could that be one of these? I also saw a red '03 at another dealer a few months ago, same stuff on it. Dealer was REALLY trying to sell me that one, I think it was around $2,000 more than regular. Also an I4.

What you are seeing is more than likely just cars that the dealers built. There is a Hyundai and Mitsu dealer here that does it all the time. They put body kits, vinyl stickers, rims, all kinds of stuff, and try to sell for an ungodly amount of money. They never sell, so they sit and sit until somebody falls for it and pays the extra money.

Re: limited edition 2004 hyundai tiburons

ya that almost happened to me, my dealer tried to sell me a Tib that had rims that would cost 2400 extra, so I avoided. Later I found those same rims for 700-800 dollars. So I'm saving up for those lol
