Re: Rims

umm 6200 for something that does not go on a 3000
spend that same money on some sportier rims but if you want the g-ride look don't pay that much

Re: Rims

I think he means that those rims just don't fit with the 3000. They're sports cars, it doesn't really fit to pimp them out...

Re: Rims

Yeah but I don't think that people who want to buy rims like that really care about the speed aspect of cars... But I could imagine they would be scraping the wheel well's all the time... =\

Re: Rims

Anyone ever hear of their township or city paying for flattires/rim damage if caused by potholes?

Re: Rims

I don't think so. But I dunno.. Would you be able to prove that the flattire was caused by the pothole? Or they would be f**ckers and tell you that you should have avoided them...

On a Pearl white 3kgt I would put some 18in Volk SE37s in gunmetal or silver both look good, or some 18in 3pc O.Z. Superleggeras. Actually I would put them on any car if I could afford them. THose rims look amazing on anything.

Re: Rims

Ok, I finally found someone who it happened to, and they had stopped making the rims that he had on his car, so the township actually bought him 4 new rims and 1 tire. He called them immediately after it happened...

what about light weight rims like te37's?

i would say looks wise, i think the racing heart C5 is the best looking rim for our cars (in 19's). but yea, i will be putting my $$$ elsewhere until i have so much of it that i do not know what to do with it.

in N.Z if you damage a rim/rims as long as you ring up quite promptly, they will ususally pay out.

the reason for the bigger rims is for the bigger guards .......... and because i'd hate to lose a show to a NISSAN

my 18" leave at LEAST an inch, 19's are already cruisn round so 20's wud b the next best option and as spinners have only been for sale ( in tyre shops)for the last 5 months they wud b " in " for a few more at the minimum.

the 16's are still for track days
