How to change lights of climate controls in dashboard

I keep seeing pictures of Accords that have the green and orange lights in the climate controls removed and replaced with red/amber and blue. What's the best way to do this and where should I get the materials. Any suggestestions on how to do the same with the digital clock?

take out the climate control unit.. take the screws out the back go to a local parts store and find some colorfull bulbs the same size as those you need.. and put then in...
