supra hands down 240sx with sr motors sucks for 1\4 mile a ka-t motor will do a quicker 1\4 time then a sr red top.. sorrie to say even tho i love nissan i got to say supra hands down..

Ok, I'm not very familiar with the RB series of engines obviously. Before I met Jay I never really cared about Nissan's and especially not 240's. I've always been a Mustang guy, but now I'm torn between Stangs, 240's, and Turbo Miata's. I need one of each, all 12 seconds or faster.

You cant argue w/415rwhp and 2800 lbs...that all equates into high 11's baby...proven too...I have the video on my PC

I used to have that video also, might still be somewhere on my computer.

Too bad it couldn't hook up. Could have run at least low 11's. That's just a guestimation considering that Mustangs will run high 9's on 500rwhp weighing 3,100lbs. It's been so long since I've studied hp vs. ET/mph data that I can't really remember though.

No doubt that car was sick fast though. Even when it only ran mid 12's it was very fast. My Mustang would do that on slicks with a near perfect launch and his car did it on Advan racing slicks.

hey guys...just curious and had a view since i own a supra...The mk4 with the 2jz would smoke the 240sx but you are talking about two DIFFERENT car classes..the 240sx even the 95+ are only a 4000 dollar car and maybe 10000 with most mods you can make...then mk4 is around 30k for a nice twin turbo...so if you think a 240sx can hang with a supra then by all means the 240sx is the winner in overall...1/3 of the price...

Now if you want a legit comparison, compare the MK3 supra turbo stock at 4k with the 240sx stock at 4-5k with sr20det swap...now what do you guys think?
