Picked this up today at Wally-world and just wondered if anyone has ever used it before?

try it out and let us know the results. sounds good but cant you just buy the blank studio 27 decals and print on them? also, it says u use an inkjet printer, wont the ink come off as soon as you dip in it water?

The kit comes with software, with a bunch of decals all ready made, and the ability to create your own. After you print them out to spray the decal down with the enclosed sealer to prevent the ink from running.

i wonder if you could just buy the decal sheets mentioned above and just clear coat the decal sheet before putting it in water?

BTW...how much did this kit cost?

i've used them before they work pretty good the only problem is the colors, because you can't use white and ink prints somewhat clear so the back colors come through. You have to use the special spray as well otherwise they won't come off of the sheet. But overall they are good for black decals.

I saw this at my local hobby shop the other day too. Looks pretty interesting. The thing I liked was that it looks like it comes with a cd-rom that has a bunch of pre-made decal designs to print out. Looked like various flames and other things.

As for the whole 'printing white' problem... I was wondering if it's possible to just put a coat of flat white paint on the paper before you run it through the printer? Is that totally stupid?? I'm thinking that if you paint the decal paper white (or just a portion of it), let it dry, then print on top of that, the colors would come out brighter. Anyone done this or know if it would work??? (I guess you could just buy 'white' decal paper too.... but I'd still like to know if this would work...)
