Wide body Shelby Series 1 1:25

Hello I have just started to build a widebody shelby Series 1.
It is a revell kit and I have already built it once... but it lookt terible so i started with it again. I do't make this thing by the purpose to looking great... I am making this projeckt to learn. I ame going to build a Toyota Supra later and I want some practising before i starts to cut in the supra body...



I ame supose to make new sideskirts a new front bumper and the boddy widining. And also make a bigger hood because the stock one is to thin and when you put the boddy on the frame the engine will lift the hood...

The widening are made of a butter can.
I hope that i have the time to putt the putty on tomorow..

I am planing to use a elastic car putty called Plastic Padding Elastic... i have used it before and it will due i think... I have ordered a tamiya putty from japan... but I have not got it yet...

I finished one for my brother. I really like your idea. If it wasn't for my brother I definately would redo it to wide body (I did it right before finding AF online) Keep it up

Now I have made some of the putty work... the klock is 11:30 pm

I will putt up some pictures tomorrow when the putty has dryed...

A suggestion on your headlight situation. Was the kit supposed to come with headlights? If so, contact the manufacturer saying there were missing parts, the will either send you a new kit, or send you new headlights.

How much longer do we have to wait for more pictures??? I am tired of waiting.

But just one problem... revell-monogram just send parts in the US and Canada..... and i Live in Sweden... can any body order some parts for me that lives in the US and then pas them for me??


This is the first un worked layer of putty.

Sorry Mates more pictures might come up week 17.... My sister is here now so i cant do enything on the car... and in the next 2 weeks i go away on hollidays...=/

but I might get somthing done on sunday or on monday...=)
