1996 keyless entry programming
I have a 1996 Buick Regal and I need to program two new remotes.
I see about three different methods referenced on this site, but no one says which process works. Can someone help? |

Re: 1996 keyless entry programming
I found the answer myself. It worked.
In the trunk next to the antenna, there is a wire that is not connected to anything. Jumper it to ground. The car locks and trund lock will cycle. Press the lock button on the remote. The door locks will cycle, but the trunk will not. If you have another remote, press the lock button. The door locks will cycle, the trunk will not. Remove the jumper. The remotes are programmed. photopm@gmail.com |
