Could anybody tell me where the Pcv valve is located on a 91 PA, not ultra? And how does it look like?

1. Remove the decorative cover from around the intake plenum. The PCV valve is located under the flat area of the cover behind the steering pump.
2. Remove the bolts that fasten the cover plate to the intake manifold. Be careful as you loosen the cover because there is spring tension underneath!
3. Remove the cover from the intake manifold.
4. Remove the spring and PCV valve from its cavity.
5. Clean or replace the valve and spring as required.

Mike

Thank you for your advice. I must say though that the cover is already missing, sad to say. But now I know where exactly to look.
Thanks again.

The complete kit at the Buick dealer is $22. This includes a new cap, spring, gaskets and PCV valve.

Thanks swipter,
thanks to all the help of everybody that listed here I was able to locate and change the valve. Looked like I expected, previous owners never changed it, because it is so well hidden. And yes I had the plate that was secured by bolts.

Thank's BIG-L that's the best way to explain where and how to replace a PVC valve on a 3.8 I've ever come across.
