Visiting Model Factory Hiro
Actually, there is not much inside story, I just try to share what I see in HIRO. By the way, there is a message from Mr. HIRO
"Thanks for all your support. We are happy you choose our porduct. However, we are more happy IF YOU REALLY BUILD MY PRODUCT. So, please don't just buy our model but also build and share the happiness." Here we are. Model Factory Hiro This is the Boss. Mr. HIRO and his PR Manager. Big guy and very nice. Mr. Okazaki. One of the main designer. He has deigned 312 Series and also working on F2003GA Design Crew. The tallest gentleman is responsible in building their model too. He has spent 10 days for the 962C and 3 days for the DBR9. Fast ! The Boss Area Computer-Aid Design Area. Ferrari has given real body data to HIRO. That's why HIRO is able to create 100% correct body shape for the F2003 and also some other future release product (I may not tell u what are coming up but you could image. F2...... However, sorry for Engine. This is secret to Ferrari) One of the 72D Design Hand-Craftmanship Corner Reference Corner. This is only part of it.. Their latest Laser Scanning Device Manufacturing Corner. They have about 100 pieces per day. Packing Corner This is some part of F2003. No more complain on its appearance since they are working with Ferrari and have the real car data. Why do Ferrari give them data ? On Jan of 2006, Mr. Hiro was in HK with some guy from Ferrari. Ferrari was happy to give them not only COPYRIGHT but also full co-operation since Ferrari also appreicate what MFH done and they could really product a great Ferrari Model. Although Mr. Okazaki has done a very good job on the development already, Mr. No (Mr. Hiro) said "NO" since it is not good enough and the crew also take this business very serious. Personally, I have a special order (request) to get one of the model with Okazaki ' autograph The MP4/6 parts. Hopefully, it will be released on 17 Oct, 2006. Have you placed an order ? I have ! 1/20 312F1 Part MC12, one of MUST BUY item and I have saw its decal graphic. Very nice. F40, I hope this could be one of a X'Mas gift from my wife 427S/C. Although there are many brand have manufactured this model b4, I am waithing to see MFH magic Wow, this could be a most important one. See the hood, this is a HIRO MASTER. :P 330LMB, it is stunning 250TDF Alfa Romeo TZ2, it is impressive Some other completed displayed in HIRO Showroom. However, there are many of them never showed in their web page. All their models are state of art and they just use the Soft99 Clear (Spray Can) as clear coat. I think that HIRO should share more completed models with steps in their web page in order to promote this kinda modeling. Actually, there are some more pictures taken but I could not disclose here since this is kinda secret and I have to keep my word. Finally, please forgive my poor photography technique and the boring writing. I would have some Ferrari Museum pictures shared if u guys don't mind my boring writting and poor pictures By the way, I will have a little survey later for HIRO product and all of you will affect the MFH future such as product and material used. Please participate and thanks in advance. Once again from Mr. HIRO and MFH Crew : "Thanks for your support and please enjoy building our models" Bye ! P.S. This is a lovely and friendly PR I have ever met ! |

Very intersting! It's really neat to see where our stuff comes from. Their in-house models are excellent. Thanks so much for sharing!

Re: Visiting Model Factory Hiro
Thanks for sharing, very cool to get some background information. Very cosy company. I'm getting a DBR-9 from them at the moment, and what I have seen on the net, they sure do there best. Well 100 out of 10, if I compare the kit I got from rennaisance (srry but the body is not worth it rennaisance)
