Instrument Cluster Fix Tutorial with PICS

I posted this link in another thread but, it was burried so deep many won't see it. It's well worth highlighting. This tutorial is for those with dead instruments and/or starting problems and suspect bad solder joints on the instrument cluster circuit board. It is by far the most comprehensive step by step tutorial on disassembling the dash/instrument panel plus making repairs on the circuit board that I have seen. A big thanks to 98t&c over at Chryslerminivan.net - the guy who took the time to put it all together.

For the whole story go here: http://forum.chryslerminivan.net/showthread.php?t=6310 The link is on post #11

I only see a black pop up window. Don't see the pictures. Is there an error?

Here is the link I am using: http://photoshow.comcast.net/rlshaull/

Try these: http://support.simplestar.com/index....eid=90&nav=0,9

Both your link and the link in the thread are still working for me. It appears to use Macromedia. Try getting the latest version.

Should see a slideshow with embedded instructions and music once you get it working.

Um, do you mean Flash Player or something? I went here: http://www.macromedia.com/software/flash/about/ and I seem to have the latest Flash Player. Please let me know if you think I need something else to view it. Love to see your tutorial.

Yes, Flash Player is one of the dozen or so things to check as stated in the link I sent. If none of those fix it then you've got me.

Re: Instrument Cluster Fix Tutorial with PICS

Hey, thanks. I was able to figure it out. My firewall "ZoneAlarm Pro" was preventing me in watching the flash video. Had to disable everything in the Privacy section of ZAP in order to make it work. See screenshot below for those that can't view the flash tutorial and are using ZAP.

In case for those that can't watch this video tutorial, maybe you guys can see it here, since I downloaded the images on the tutorial and put it all together in the same sequence as a PDF file. I hope RIP doesn't mind.

Click here to download PDF tutorial.
