Aftermarket Headlights

My low beam headlights seem a bit weak on rainy nights. Does anyone have any good aftermarket suggestions? I was thinking of getting Silverstars, but are they really that much better than typical halogens? What I would really love to do is to get HID's and lens to focus the lights and light up road like day. I know this could cost $100's, but can it be done easily?

Sliverstars are a great alt. to HID's if your tight on money. If you are going to use HID's try to find one with built in balast (sp). And you do need to mod your headlight housing a little. Try and check out my car domain's web sight for some pic's I remember seeing some awhile back It's a black Intrigue that's all I can remember.

I love my silverstars!! $40 is worth it. I was going to put thinking of putting them on the fog lights but stupid left one keeps blowing out.

Try to check if the left fog light is sealed properly. Make sure there is no moisture in the housing. That's what happen to me when I had a 94 grand am. Oh yea and check the contacts, see if there is any burns or wear & tear.

headlamps

I enjoy my Silverstars at night, in fog, and in snowstorms. If I needed to, I could drive at night w/o highbeams. Bright enough that people have flashed me thinking they're my highbeams. I bout mine at Wal-Mart for around $40 and am completely satisfied. I can't imagine how bright the highbeam Silverstars are.
