Cloudy Headlights 1987

First let me thank everyone who has helped with my previous questions. The advice has been helpful and problems solved. Thanks!

As a new Thunderbird owner, it has been nice to come to a place where I can get help from folks who know.

I have a 1987 V6 and the headlight lenses are very cloudy. Is there any way to clear them up? Have heard of using Mothers metal polish but thought I would ask everyone here.

Thanks!

Brian

I have heard of people polishing the headlights but have no personal experience.

You can get new headlights on eBay for around $125.00.

I have a 1989 supercoupe and the headlights fogged up and I used Mothers wheel polish and it made them like brand new,,you have to wax them afterwards or they cloud right back up again,,,I have also seen guys clear them but this in the end looks like shit after it ages a little <I would rather polish and wax them everytime I polish my wheels then have it look like crap after a few months then you are stuck with getting of chipped up and fooged out clearcoat
