Pics of my car on GSR rims + Some work we doing on my friends GSR

Anyhow, my friend is doing some major work with his 94 GSR so he lemme borrow the rims just to see how they would look on my car. We didnt put em on all around, cause the front of his car would be too low with my 13" civic VX rims on there. So here are some shitty pics I took in the parking garage, I will take some better ones tommorow when it is light. I think it looks pretty badass, fills up the entire whellwell.

** Maybe I should put my steelies on the front to complete that "drag" look

And now some pics of the GSR

Its easier to work on without the bumper

Looks funny without the intake manifold, dont you think?

All the bolts and nuts that we wont be able to figure out where it goes again

New Injectors hooked up and ready to go

AEM fuel rail / presure regulator and Magnecor wires

Nice and cleaned up Skunk2 intake manifold ready to go

Reppin the 13's on the back

Parking lot at pepboys with his moms 94 EX and some hoopty

Me representin da westside

Those wheels do look nice, but they'd look even nicer without that huge gap between the fender and the tires.

yea.... a lil lower would be nice. But since Melt goes a lot of places a lowered car shouldnt (ski slopes, places to mountain bike, etc.), i dont think he'll be lowering anytime soon

It'll would look cool with all 4.

13" rims most likley wouldn't even fit on the front of the GSR.. They'd probably hit the brakes....

they wont fit on the front of that 'teg, I know 13's dont fit on the front of my EX and when I swap the front brakes over to the CRX I'm going to *have* to find bigger rims or another set of 14" steelies. (the ones on the EX are warped)

Good thing we didnt try to put the 13's on the front of the GSR, I remember hearing about the brake thing, but it skipped my mind. Anyhow, we swapped it back since I am going snowboarding tommorow and want it to ride right, and my x-mas vacation from college is over monday. Anyhow, took a couple more pics in the daylight

Daytons ... hahaha

Semi decent pic I took holding the camera backwards out the window of the car

All switched back now

And a couple more pics of the GSR for you guys, we got everything hooked back up, but we cant figure out where the intake manifold pressure sensor plugs into, so its just chillin. Still havent tried to start the car yet, gotta do some other stuff.

The headlights are off now too, he wanted to clean out that yellowing effect, I told him about the sandpaper thing, but he thinks its inside

And his dads 97 Subaru Legacy Outback reppin the JDM style headlights (my friends dad has a 98 and the corner lense is seprate so I thought this was interesting)

Well, he was putting jis fuel rail back on and it wouldn t start so as he tried to back up the bolt, he broke two of em ... I got my friend who has a machine shop at his disposal to back em out, and he had to rethread one of the holes. Anyways, I got a pic of the broken bolt.

And some worthless ones, these damn people keep parking in front of my house, so I pulled right up on em ... looks like im touching em doesent it ...

But im not
