b16a or ls vtec

i have a 1990 honda civic and wanting to do an engine swap....ive heard good things about the sir2 and the ls vtec but not sure what one to buy.......i know the stats on both but need to know which one is better and what one will give me a better quarter mile time.

Theres different variable that will you will have to take into effect for a estimated qt time. For one, what type of civic (4 door, or hatch?) Also tires and traction. I have a b16a2 (mines jdm so it just says b16) in a HF CRX, that has ran a 14.5 qt...

I have a 1990 honda civic dx hb....with $3000 almost in suspension set up for the track..........i plan on gutting my car out as well so.......i really just wanna know what people are running in there cars most of all.
