4.6 liter help

How do you fully remove the left side valve cover? I can not get it out of the frame near the front of the engine to work on the came drive belt.

Sorry. to work on the main cam drive chain

Disconnect the motor mounts and lift the engine up...

Yep that works. The bolt that drives both of the left hand ohc walked out and broke off. Looks like the spare engine is going in. I had a guy that was going to look at it Friday.

does anyone have a quatermaster 8.5" clutch assy.with the quatermaster alum. steel flywheel 10 spline for the 4.6 liter engine they would like to sell . The fly wheel must be in good shape w/ a soild starter ring. I have a spare nodular Iron spare but would like to stay with the quatermaster alum steel. The steel starter ring is loose on mine. Thanks

Hi Jim, we have used Al/steel flywheels and clutches.

$100 for the flywheel & $75 for the clutch.
