Ordering wheels tomorrow...need opinions

I'm looking to buy these wheels in a package from this place. http://edgeracing.com/product/wheel/...mber=c1p1i1363 All the mounting balancing and lugs nuts are included. The 17'' wheel is 17 lbs and is 42 offset. I dont think it will rub because my hatch is only lowered 1.75/1.5.......just looking for opinions, not looking to be told to buy a different style wheel. THIS IS THE STYLE I"M GETTING what do you guys think about fitment? I dont want rubbing.

Forget it. I ordered the REV Model 11 in gunmetal from www.speedandstyle.com they just put the package on sale. The total prices with mounting balancing and hardware was $659 delivered. 17.5 lbs and 42 offset.

Well, for the most part, you should have no problem with that wheel rubbing against the car unless you buy really large tires.

You don't have rush into purchasing something. That same rim might be cheaper in a couple of weeks. I doubt it. It's a pretty good deal but I think they come with crappy tires.

Why buy wheels that will make your car slower. 17 lbs. each for a Civic? That's 68 pounds. I don't see why aren't going for 15" Rota Sub-Zeros or Slipstreams which are under 12 lbs. each.

well the stock 13s with tires are supposed to be 30 pounds each, so that's not too much difference, plus, some people go for looks too, and 17s usually look better than 15s.

I already have a set of 15's and a set of aluminum 13's. The 17's arent to race with plus the fact its a civic, not a rocket ship. If I want to race I will buy a car and gut it to race with. This is a daily driver that handles nice and is fun to drive. I dont race light to light like most of these kids, I'm too old for that. If I want a racecar I will build one. 17 lbs per wheel for a 17 is fairly light and they will look very nice.

I was thinking the same thing Mogg but I'm not racing on these wheels and the stock motor in my car puts out 0hps so I dont think it will be a problem. I ended up getting the Rev 11's from www.speedandstyle.com
