Ferrari 288 GTO

Hello!
That's my new car (ok just a model ). It's a 082series Fujimi, whit the all of the padvantages and disadvantages of it. The plastic, fitting, burrs, etc are terribille, but I can belive the myth of Italian cars. I know many mistakes, But I love it, becouse its a really good and itrasting kit(and car) whit a big PE sheet.

Just you have to take care what do you want to use from it

The lamellas should in flush whit the body. Nice joke, and the original plastic wasn't bad! so:

engine v0.4.9 Beta

And I started to make the coolers:

Re: Ferrari 288 GTO

Which PE set is that? I've been looking for a good one for my 288. Did you fold the pe the right way? I can't tell if the louvres are folded down or up.

Re: Ferrari 288 GTO

It's a lot of work but when i need/want to add vents/louvres onto body work, i tend to mark out positions and use a photetch saw to make little guides for the strips of plastic.
I find it keeps them in place better and makes sanding afterwards much easier.
of course, the last time I did this, it was for only 3-4 "blades" not the very many that you'd have to do here.
