Hope this helps.

PS. Happy New Year!
I'm sorry to say that but your pics clearly shows contrary that what you're saying for me, because that firewall is white not black for me !!
the roll cage precisely seems black and has a different color from the firewall... So for me they aren't both black...

But as some pics and members reported, it's not always white and white would even be the exception...
Really strange because most of my pics (which aren't all from corsica - 85 not 84 you're right for the pic) show a white firewall...

The 85 Manx rally car clearly has a black inside, I have a pic in full light, but it's the GB championship car so perhaps different (not many chances to but not sure either it's not the case).

the doors inside are the most problematic question because it's clearly visible it's sometimes white, sometimes black...
what I think but it's only my interpretation for the moment is that 84 cars had black door inside and 85 white ones, because pics I have from 85 (if well identified, another question and problem maybe) cars show white door inside as the S1 got since 85 Argentina...

I must confess I'm a bit lost now, I was sure it was white for all the cars (which is precisely false, I can't pretend contrary seeing some pics) and some pics show a white firewall without any possible confusion, but some other ones show exact contrary with same certainty...

maybe a different inside between drivers would be the most probable reason and explaination but it would be strange...

I think that keeping black roll cage and firewall for 84 Corsica seems the best choice, but I'm not convinced without pics for each 85 cars and even 84 SR has for me a white firewall.

Malscar, do you have some pics for each car/color you mention ??
I agree for 85 Greece if we're talking about the #1 car, the firewall is white no doubt, and roll cage seems black... It's visible in a small video I've just looked at few minutes ago, but I didn't have checked all cars and rallies metioned as you seem to have.

I think I'll take a look at the original videos in the coming days, because I hate to say wrong things when trying to advise other builders (that's not serious :!! ) and have doubts !!
I also have some Scala43 1/43 kits in which I trust building instructions, I'll take a look to see what they say about the color...
And a lot of french and german books or magazines, but not all under my hands these days...

As I intend to build Mouton's 84 RAC car and Röhrl's 85 MonteCarlo car I want to be sure of the color, moreover not to say wrong things in the future...

Re: Audi sport quattro

Ok, Ok, that's really disturbing for me...
I opened the books I have under my hands, the german "rallye Jahrbuch" and the two Group B bibles, one from M. Morelli and the second from R. Klein...

My certainties:

- 85 Acropolis cars #1 and #3 have white firewall and black roll cage, can't see doors inside;
- 84 Corsica Röhrl's car is black, doors inside as firewall and roll cage but not rear pillars;
- 85 MC Röhrl's car is black as TdC one including doors inside (I would have swear contrary for this one );
- 85 Portugal : black but don't know for door insides.
- 84 floor is black.

What I still don't/couldn't verify:

- although pics posted above in the thread seems to confirm white firewall for 84 SanRemo cars, the #2 seems to have a white firewall but I can' t find any pics of the other.
That can be possible, as Blowqvist drove a Sport Quattro for this event and not the A2 he was used to, so maybe the car isn't perfectly exact to the other ones... Even if it's hard to believe...
- I have a 85 SanRemo pic, but I can't see the color clearly, it seems to have white firewall and black roll cage as in 84...
- when exactly were white doors inside used...?? Ok for NZ and Hunsrück rally (german championship for those who don't know it) but what for other events...??

I'm really becoming crazy with that back and white story...

Of course I have verify in clearly visible pics I could share, but they are in the books mentioned so not easy to take with camera.

Re: Audi sport quattro

#2 car in San Remo '84 had white doors so the white rear firewall is logical. So you're right Phil. Sorry for the confusion.

Ok thanks for the information, one thing sure at all !!

84 SanRemo color question is solved and that can be added to the certainties list => white doors inside and firewall + black roll cage.

don't feel sorry for confusion this is now the main keyword of the thread since I had the great idea to talk about the colors choice of Roman model !!

Re: Audi sport quattro

Hi guys!
I have connected a body of model to the bottom part.
In process there were various difficulties.Lateral panels of an interior and the instrument panel rested against glasses.
I should work as a sandpaper a little.

It is my first constructed model in 2011!

Many thanks to all of you for the help! Your recommendations and photos were very useful to me!
