sorry, i totally missed your wall post :-( for removing I use lighter fluid or the goo gone stuff. If you're going to find a flat black hood you need to search "OEM hood" always use "OEM" when looking for just stock basic parts. I know they have just plain hoods as body shops use them daily when fixing fender benders. I hope that helps! you can e-mail me at amy@automotiveforums.com to get a quicker reply ;-)

need some simple how tos on my '89 civic stnd hatch
Okay so my car is an '88 or '89 civic hatchback standard with a dx d15 swapped in and a dx 5 speed transmission. First thing i want to do is remove some cheesy graphics and replace the worn out hood flat black factory style hood. I'm having a hard time finding a flat black hood online all im finding is carbon fiber do you know where get get one? What's the proper way to remove decals?

that you were posting this to the Facebook page. I'm a tire engineer with one of the major tire manufacturers and I think I can do a more complete and accurate write up about inflation pressure than what is written there.

I really dislike bad info and that thread contains some. I think people reading the first part of the thread will absorb that bad info - which is why I am suggesting that a new and separate link to complete and accurate info is the best way to go.
