shave

I got a 2000 civic ex 2dr. I want to shave my side bumper and antennae.
what kinda material would i need to do the job? I also want to put a side marker on the fender where the side bumper is on. Can a regular side marker fit? or do I need the kind that is the same size as the side bumper...
