Geo Prizm - Starting problems

I have a 1996 Chevy Geo Prizm 158,000 miles on it and still runs great. But once and a while after I have driven it for over an hour and stop, I can’t start it. I turn the key and nothing happens, no noise just nothing. Then I wait a while maybe a couple hours it starts just fine. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I have a 2000 prism and some times when i start it i have nothing i put the car in nutraul then it starts. now if i push it up all the way in park it starts
