Engine Coverblkspecv 04-05-2003, 06:26 PM I want to paint my engine cover red to get my engine bay looking better but i was worried about the heat buildup cracking the new paint. Is that going to be a problem or should i just forget about it. warcries 04-05-2003, 09:39 PM bro i did just thate with caliper paint ///it looks badass havent had any issues...also put red tubing all over...we will see in a week sr20de4evr 04-05-2003, 10:05 PM Just use high temp paint and it will be fine. High temp paint is made for calipers, valve covers, etc. so it can definately withstand the heat.
