Hello,
I had my transmission replaced about 2 months, 3000 miles ago. I was getting onto an on ramp recently and hit a nasty bump in the road and now the check trans light is blinking. I got underneath and looked and didn't notice any visible damage or leaks. Does anyone have an idea what can cause this? Did something get knocked loose?
Thanks in advance!

It is most likely the transmission position switch that sits next to the transmission. Common problem usually discovered when hitting a bump. Easy to change, not expensive.

I had that switch (the range select/mode select sw) go bad on my 00 Trooper and the symptoms I got were erratic shifting and incorrect indications on the gear display, although it can also exhibit as hard shifting and other problems, but no Check Trans light (but don't rule it out).
Since you recently had the trans replaced, it's possible one of the electrical connectors was not mated properly and is not making proper contact after the bump. You may want to get underneath and check, they can be difficult to access, which is another reason one may not have been connected properly.
But first I'd get the CEL codes checked even if you do not have the CEL lit.
