The ac is blowing hot air again on my 99zx2.Had the ccrm replaced 2 years ago so it's time for a new one.Is this something I can do myself?

Should be able to. It's located at the base of the left strut housing as you are sitting in the driver's seat.

Hi there.

I changed mine out last summer in hopes of solving my A/C hot air problem. (Didn't work for me, but hopefully it will for you!)

On my '99 the CCRM is found under the air filter housing. Get that out of the way and you should have relatively easy access to the bolts holding that little box in place.
It would be a good idea to label or keep track of the different electrical connections so that you know where they reattach. Masking tape curled back on itself and marked with a Sharpie pen works well. ;)

If this solves you A/C problem I'd like to know. I still haven't figured mine out. (Maybe it's time for a recharge...)
