Trooper driver side front seat?

The spring on my front seat finally gave out. I guess that 273,000 miles and my extra weight was too much for it??

Any thoughts or ideas? Are seats available aftermarket? Or should I just try to fix it. My only concern is how can I get it welded or soldered?
