Engine Problems

I have a 2002 Spec-v i have been having continuing engine problems. When i start the car up on a cold morning, it starts very rough and usually the engine light comes on shortly after. I have talked to a few people and they say this is a known issue called "slugging". My question is does any one know where i can find more info on this issue or if any one has any that they can send me i would appreciate it. thank you peoples :)

have you tried going back. you should be covered under warranty.

I have never heard of this problem, and believe me, I've heard of many different problems. Take it to the dealership, see what they have to say

Oh yeah, take of your mods (if you have any) before you go, even if the problem could not have been caused by the mod it will keep them from hassling you constantly

I have went to the dealer and they beat around the bush... i have brought them the the car on 4 occations and the last time i was there they blamed my cut off switch for the problem (complete BS) so they took it out and $250 more bucks later its still happening. Wish me luck im filing for the Lemon law :) New and improved 2003 Spec-V here i come :)

I'm sorry but the chances of you getting your lemon law claim fulfilled is slim to none. Others with many many many more and worse problems have tried and failed miserably. But good luck nonetheless.
