PCV valve problem-96 Park Avenueka9mgd 06-15-2008, 06:11 PM Is it normal to have oil laying on top of the pcv valve under the map sensor? I replaced the pcv valve and o-rings with new ones when I replaced the plenum about 5,000 miles ago. Also where can I get a new plastic piece that holds down the pcv valve that also holds the map sensor? I have broken the ears off that hold the map sensor in place. A new one came with the plenum I replaced earlier in the year; I was hoping I could buy a new one someplace:banghead: BNaylor 06-16-2008, 08:52 AM To see some oil there is normal. The AC Delco kit below has the plastic retainer. Or if it was done at a garage, do they have one on an old plenum that would fit for you? ka9mgd 06-16-2008, 12:16 PM Thanks for the responses-I used the one from the old plenum and broke it also.I will order a new one from gm parts on line. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
