2002-3.2CL State Farm totaled it - most of the car is fine (including vtec)

So I was minding my own business driving on the freeway when a PT Crusier needed to suddenly be in the exact space I was occupying. I avoided any impact, but 360'ed into the cables dividing the highway.

State Farm totaled the car... and I now own it as salvage.
I can either find a 02-03 CL with blown/seriously disturbed vtec or try to find a CL/TL and drop the vtec into it - sell off the rest of the car. I got the idea from some quick browsing that the 02 3.2CL vtec will fit in a '98-06 TL.

I guess I'm fishing for interest in either scenario...

and any info if you can help. I was really quite happy with the car as it was. This is a hassle, but it might be just the thing someone is looking for.
