Here's just one of a million places to look for body parts.
http://shop.carbodyparts.net/search.html?make=isuzu&model=trooper&year=1986&part_type=
Now, as far as pepping up 2.3L Trooper goes, there are a few options;
a) Always travel down hill.
b) Use moonshine instead of gas.
c) Buy a roll back wrecker and put the Trooper on it.

Seriously, there really isn't a lot you can do to pep up such a small motor pulling such a heavy vehicle. I have a 3.2L DOHC in my '97 Trooper and it's not what I would call 'peppy'. :grinno:

Hi and welcome to the forum.

As you have seen, your engine does not lend itself to a lot of modifications. I believe there is a Delta camshaft and some headers available for your engine. Try googling Independent 4X4, they specialize in Isuzus. I don't know if a Weber carb is available for your engine, I think the 2.6 can get one. HTH
