well i had my supra for a couple of days, and when i was driving it started making a knocking noise, it gets louder as the rpm's go up but when i put in the clutch the noise goes away, what can this be? The engine is a 7mgte from a 1987 supra turbo thanks

Hard to say without hearing it myself.

I know this is an old thread, but its rod knock. Probably from a spun bearing. Enjoy that rebuild. This is what happened to my supra so Im waiting on my 1JZ to get here.
