Anybody know where I can find a turbo for a 2001 ZX2?

I have researched this and could never find a turbo for an Escort or zx2.

Well ive found various kits for, ford's but not for escorts or zx2's. :banghead:

Don't know how reliable they are. Couldnt you fit a 2000 focus turbo on a zx2?

I think the high performance ZX3 would fit onto a zx2. I'm not sure but I thought they were both dual cam-16 valve heads. Good point. Check it out. you just might be able to get it to work.

Zetec 2.0L 4 Cylinder 130 hp engines

So my bet is a turbo for a Focus zx3 would fit on a zx2.

Don't know for sure, Ill have to look into it more, If anything, Ill just buy all the parts and check it out.

If you are good with mods you could make it work. A friend of mine made a blown 95 Escort Pony out of a Thunderbird turbo. Yes, I think it could be done.

Home page 3/4 th down the page first you will see the cheaper zx2 turbo w/ no IC, the next one down is the more expensive full turbo.

There's more that comes with the full turbo set up then what's in the picture.

The site also offers long rod strokers for the zx2 as well as beefed up trannie's and all that good stuff.

i believe Gude makes a turbo kit for the zx2 and its fairly cheap but good quality just search gude on google

yes they are the exact same 2.0 Zetec motors its just the way the piping is run that differs it can be done but its alot of work

they are the same except for the heads are diff, intake mani, and the zx2 has better cams, and the cams out of a zx wont work in a focus and vice versa
