I just purchased a vtec controller but im not sure where in the rpm range to set it.
I have a injen intake, aem fuel rail, dc sport headers, full cat back exahust, skunk2 intake manifold and throttle body.
Im not sure if I should set it higher or low then 5500 rpms, because i've heard that setting it lower may effect the performace of the my car in a negative way.

Set it right at the stock engagement point. Contrary to popular belief, the Honda engineers actually knew what they were doing when they set the engagement point.

^ Werd. Unless you have modifications that will change your powerband, altering vtec engagement is absolutely pointless.
