coil question

OK i am in the middle of replacing my coil and i was wondering if it would be possible to mount the coil somewhere else... it is too hard to get to there..

EDIT: Ok so i took my coil out and i cut up the bracket that holds it on there and i bolted it onto the manifold where the wiring harness bolts to.. is this bad? i had a spare coil anyways..

If it works then I would say it works. lol
