Elevation power difference...jldude 12-20-2006, 03:11 PM I just thought this was weird. I live and drive at 6600feet usually, but when I went to phoenix last week, I sware i got another 15hp. I could floor it in 5th gear at 55, and it felt like I had shifted to 4th. seriously, the tires were lucky at green lights...lol. AND it gets better fuel economy at lower elevations.
