I have about 130k miles on the truck and have already replaced the FSU once around 90k. Once again this thing is acting funky. Does anyone know what the life is for a FSU? Do I have to replace it again? I'm trying to avoid that because I know I'll need to have the PCM recalibrated to the new FSU.

Thanks.

If your sending unit has already been replaced once the PCM should have the new calibration for the newer style sender and should not need to be programmed again
as for life span I have no idea I have seen some die with 20k on them and have seen some with over100k and had never been replaced

mine went a 30,000. some say it is related to the gas you use. the more cheap additives the gas has the sooner the fsu fails. mike
